We will leave from Orbetello to discover the history of Porto Ercole and the wonderful nature of the Feniglia reserve. Along a cycle path, we will reach Porto Ercole and we will travel a stretch of the spectacular panoramic road of Monte Argentario, stopping at the famous Rocca Spagnola and Forte Filippo overlooking the sea. These fortifications were built in the fifteenth century during the Spanish rule when Porto ercole was annexed to the new State of the Royal Presidia of Spain.
After visiting Piazza Santa Barbara in the ancient heart of the village, we will venture inside the Feniglia Nature Reserve. After a stop in the most evocative and wild part of the beach, we will return to Orbetello passing through Ansedonia and thus closing the lagoon ring, perhaps encountering some specimens of the lagoon fauna.
